Empowered Midwifery and Wellness, LLC is an independent out-of-hospital, home-birth midwifery and family practice. At Empowered Midwifery and Wellness, LLC we offer quality, safe, and individualized care.
Having a primary care provider that you trust is incredibly important. We provide full scope primary care to women from puberty through menopause. Enjoy having a provider that partners with you in your healthcare and truly listens to you. We offer visits in clinic and home visits. Services include well women exam (annual exams), pap smears, problem focused visits, family planning services, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, and other primary care concerns. With the addition of our Family Nurse Practitioner, we are able to offer full scope primary care for the entire family, including mens health and well child visits.
Initial prenatal care offically starts between 10-12 weeks but we do free meet and greets at any time to see if we are the right provider for you! We can also start care sooner if you would like or if you have any concerns!
We take the time to address your physical and emotional needs to ensure that your prenatal experience is one that you'll enjoy. Visits are usually between 30-90 minutes in length.
We currently offer birth services in the comfort of your own home. We suggest that you contact us as soon as you've gone into labor. In your own home, you will experience the freedom to move around as needed, eat what you'd like when you'd like, and relax in whatever way feels good for your body. The combination of support and comfort from your family and our team is beneficial in facilitating your birth.
To ensure that you receive the best possible care for you and your newborn baby, our team will stay in close contact with you after your birth to provide support, physical exams, assist with breastfeeding, and answer any questions you may have. All of these services can be provided to you in the comfort of your home. Our goal is to stay connected with you and support you throughout the postpartum and newborn stages.

Ashley was amazing to have by my side as I had my first ever homebirth! She allowed and encouraged me to labor and deliver exactly how I wanted.
She was the most compassionate provider I have ever been to. She took her time at every appointment and was always sure to answer any questions I had. She was also always there whenever I needed her through my pregnancy and now even after!
I highly recommend Ashley and her services to anyone and everyone! My homebirth with Ashley was my 4th delivery and by far my best experience yet! If I have another baby, it will be at home again with Ashley by my side!

I had a waterbirth HBAC (home birth after C-section) under the care of Ashley, and it was one of the most important and healing experiences of my life. I switched to her as my prenatal care provider about halfway through my pregnancy.
Throughout my appointments, Ashley was both professional and kind, giving me space to feel heard and understood. She was always prepared to support me in how I was feeling and also present me with the information I needed to plan my first home birth after four hospital births.
Her encouragement, along with other staff members, was so important in boosting my confidence, which propelled me into a successful and meaningful birth experience for me and my whole family.
Having had a previously traumatic emergency Cesarean birth, my recent home birth experience truly was empowering and I view it as an accomplishment. Being supported by Ashley in what my body was created to do helped me to feel safe, strong and courageous in meeting my birth goals. Ashley is kind, knowledgeable, respectful and an all around incredible woman!
